Animal Communicator
About Anna
I have always felt a deep connection with animals and wanted to help them with my work. I have worked in an animal shelter and at a kennel. I have also been a trainee at a veterinarian’s office and in a pet shop. In my childhood home we had dogs and my grandparents rescued a feral cat. As an adult I’ve had rats and gerbils as pets. But eventually I wanted to get my own dog. Before that I took care of a dog that was trained to be an assistant dog for the disabled. At the moment my family includes two cats and a dog.

The road to becoming a holistic healer for animals stemmed from my own good experiences. My family’s old lab had some breathing problems when he was getting older. He couldn’t breathe properly when he got excited. The vet could give us no help with the problem, and the prognosis was bad. Our family used homeopathy, however, and our dog got to live for many more years.
​
When I finally got my own dog, a yellow lab called Charlie, my life was about to change drastically. I had no idea, how drastically. Charlie had serious behaviour problems. He got so excited in less than a second that I could not control him at all. He used his teeth uncontrollably, hung onto my biceps or my hair, humped everybody constantly, or just ran around the room like crazy. Before getting Charlie I thought I was an experienced dog handler. But I was totally at a loss regarding his problems.

After trying every training trick in the book I realised, I just couldn’t connect with Charlie on any level. He was like a child with autism or ADHD. I decided to search for help on the holistic sector. I studied to become a holistic healer for animals, and learned about the benefits of raw feeding. When I changed his diet, Charlie’s behaviour changed dramatically. He was able to concentrate and started to obey my commands. We got an immense amount of help from osteopathy and homeopathy. When he got older, Charlie was a sweet, loving dog who got along with everybody.

I studied a 4-year degree in homeopathy and started my own practice in 2008. I had my first glimpse into animal communication at a class held by Maiccu Kostiainen. It opened something inside of me that felt very natural and familiar. My connection with animals broadened and got new meanings. Charlie taught and raised me until the end of his physical life, which ended abruptly in 2016. I am forever grateful to him for being my teacher who steered me on this path.
Animal Communication
What is animal communication?

Animals don’t speak our human language, but they communicate with us all the time. An animal communicator can receive impressions, images, physical sensations, feelings and sometimes even words from an animal. The communicator translates these impressions into a human language and tells them to the animal’s guardian. Animals are constantly sending us these messages but usually our minds are too full of our own thoughts to receive them.

Animal communication can be of help in problem situations, if you want to find out WHY an animal is acting a certain way. Sometimes the communicator finds out that the animal has pain somewhere in their body. In that case the guardian is advised to take the animal to a vet.
​
An animal can also communicate about tensions in the family, because animals are very sensitive and they mirror their guardians’ energies in their behaviour and their health.
​
A communicator can also talk with the animal about everyday things, like what kinds of things the animal likes/dislikes, what she/he likes to eat or if she/he needs something. The animal can be asked what she/he thinks about certain things. It’s fun to know what your animal thinks!

Certain animals have a very specific mission here on Earth. They might give information about their mission or life’s purpose and give their owner very spiritual information. Many animals take their jobs seriously and hope that we appreciate their work.

Do all animals communicate?
​
Most animals want to communicate with people. Sometimes an animal has lost trust in people and can be more difficult to connect with, like in cases on neglect or abuse. If an animal does not want to communicate, I cannot and will not force them to do it.

Can you communicate with animals who have passed away?
​
Yes, it doesn’t matter if an animal has passed away, their spirit lives on in another form and it is easy to connect with.

Do animals lie?
​
Animals are their genuine selves, so they are incapable of deception. In some cases animals might be reluctant to share some information, like if they are in pain and afraid of being brought to the vet. Sometimes animals also like to make jokes.
How do you make contact with an animal?
​
I usually communicate with animals remotely, because it is easier. There are no distractions. It doesn’t matter how far away the animal is physically. I look at the picture and tune into the animal’s energy. I ask for permission to communicate. I clear my mind of all thoughts to let the messages of the animal come through. All messages are confidential.

What is a body scan?
​
If you wish to know if your animal has any pain or discomfort in her/his body, I can use a technique called a “body scan” while communicating. It allows me to look inside the animal’s body to see if I pick up something that’s out of balance or feels “wrong”. A body scan is not a substitute for veterinary diagnosing and treatment, but if you don’t know what’s wrong with your animal, it can point you in the right direction of what tests could be helpful or where in the body it would be helpful to take a closer look.

What does an animal communicator NOT do?
​
I am not a trainer or a veterinarian. I can receive some information about a problem behaviour or an illness or pain, but I cannot cure it. The guardian might need some other methods with that. I cannot tell an animal to stop the problem behaviour, the guardian has to provide a good environment and some training. But in most cases I can bring light to the situation, WHY the animal is acting out and provide the owner with a better understanding of their pet and what she/he needs to rectify the situation.

Instructions:
Send me a picture of your animal, preferably with no one else in the picture and one where the animal is looking into the camera. Tell me if she/he is alive or has passed away. Include questions you want to ask.
If you want a body scan, include also information about age and gender and if the animal is neutered or spayed or not.
​
Animal communication is never a substitute for veterinary diagnosing or treatment. If your pet has behavioral issues, always bring him/her to the vet first before contacting an animal communicator. Animal communication is also not a substitute for properly training the animal and making its living arrangements suitable for its needs.

Raw feeding advice
Raw feeding is very beneficial for cats and dogs. I can send you written feeding instructions for your dog or cat. If you want to feed your pet healthy food, contact me and let's make a plan to feed him/her raw!
Raw feeding is necessary, if you want you pet to live a healthy, long life without illnesses. It is beneficial in joint problems, skin problems, bowel problems, and even behavioral problems. I do feeding plans even for small puppies and kittens and pregnant bitches!
